Microneedling
Microneedling is the insertion of very short, fine needles into the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. This can be done using a microneedling pen (most effective), roller, or dermastamp. Dermarollers are not recommended as they can create gouges in the skin and harbor bacteria as they are multi-use devices. We use sterile, one time use needle heads. Microneedling creates small wounds in the skin causing the body to respond by increasing production of collagen and new skin cells. Depending on the depth of the needle penetration, this can offer skin rejuvenation levels ranging from the simple enhancement of product absorption to the clinical treatment of scars and wrinkles.
