ACUPUNCTURE & ELECTROACUPUNCTURE
A Natural Approach to Healing
We work with the body’s innate healing process to help nurture this intuitive and restorative balance. In acupuncture, thin needles are inserted at specific points in the body located along meridians in order to help balance the flow of Qi and create a harmonious equilibrium. It is an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine along with Chinese herbs and living in such a way that nurtures your body’s intrinsic healing processes.
Carefully chosen acupuncture needles are often connected to one another by the means of electrostimulation. This stimulation provides a steady stimulation of the connected points and may result in a greater reduction of pain and faster healing times. Electroacupuncture is most often used in orthopedic cases such as low back pain, knee pain, and various other joint injuries but can also be used in the scalp, face and other areas in order to help bring more Qi and blood flow to the affected area.
